Job Description: Digital Marketing Specialist
Location: Denver, CO
Position Type: Part-Time Contract (20 hours/week); May eventually turn to a Perm/FTE position
***Onsite during the first few weeks then potential to work remote!
The Digital Marketing Specialist position is responsible for assisting in digital advertising campaigns across our Client’s properties under general supervision. This position will execute on strategies to create digital campaigns for marketing channels such as search and display networks, other digital advertising, and website content distribution. These campaigns include digital marketing work that requires understanding and management of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Business, and CMS platforms (Client uses DotNetNuke – no prior knowledge is required). Familiarity with the platform Domo is a plus.
While the main purpose is to assist in digital marketing efforts, our Client requires this position to assist with a website redesign project.
To include but not limited to:
Digital advertising campaigns (Google, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat): Updates and refinements to pay-per-click ad campaigns; waste removal, client campaign updates (weekly); paid social media content reviews (reviewing comments, reviewing for optimization opportunities)
Digital advertising campaign oversight via Dashboard software: Examine dashboard for inconsistencies with data being pulled in from various sources (Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook, etc.)
Website redesign project assistance: contacting departments for feedback, scheduling meetings, general admin work
Website updates: General website update requests in the DotNetNuke CMS (training available, not required to know the CMS)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strategist will have a solid understanding of digital advertising, performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition. Background in digital marketing; proven writing skills; good judgment and ability to work cooperatively in an integrated team environment when required is needed. Service-oriented working style, excellent organizational abilities, and strong interpersonal skills are required. Position requires a self-starter who works under general supervision and guidance.
- Market research abilities and branding understanding
- Knowledge of website analytics measurement methodology and measurement platforms including Google Analytics. Google AdWords knowledge required
- Self-motivated, punctual, dependable, and a team player able to work remotely, and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM work, and search/display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
- Deadline driven and able to juggle multiple projects while staying extremely organized
- Team-focus with emphasis on sharing knowledge and experience
