HASH looking for Front-End Engineer
This position is open to remote applicants, as well as those interested in working at either our London or New York offices. HASH is seeking front-end engineers to build the web interface to our simulation platform. We are a tech startup in the midst of a marathon product build. We treat our people well, provide strong benefits (fully comprehensive healthcare, etc), and have tons of experience cultivating and growing successful teams.
I’m Jude, co-founder and CTO @ HASH. Previously I was CTO at Fog Creek Software (see our creations Stack Overflow; Trello; Glitch), where most recently I contributed heavily to the Glitch.com front-end. I’m looking to hire a team of front-end engineers, one with a stronger design/UX focus and another with a stronger front-end engineering/architecture focus, to take over leadership on the front-end. I hope to bring you onto our team, train you on what’s been accomplished so far, then trust you to take on product leadership for the front-end of HASH while we support you with product vision and coaching.
There are some specific skills we’re seeking, however these are guidelines, and not a mold. - Strong (2+ years) experience with modern web frameworks, especially React.
- The ability to produce modern UI/UX for the web.
- The ability to find and fix bugs and UI/UX issues in your own code.
- The ability communicate kindly and articulately, so that you can work effectively with your team.
