Position:  SEO/SEM Specialist Needed for Remote Work
Job Description

An Orlando based parent company is now looking for an experienced SEO/SEM Specialist for a variety of subsidiary companies under the ownership umbrella.

Our businesses range from Orlando, Florida to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Arizona. With the right experience, reference checks, and proven track record, this candidate can work from one of the company locations or remotely from home.

The SEO/SEM Specialist will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing the SEO strategy for the companies within the ownership umbrella.

A minimum of 3 professional references will be required.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Plan, develop, and implement the SEO strategy for each company under the ownership umbrella

Work towards organic search optimization

Regularly perform through keywords search

Identify key SEO KPIs

Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs

Prepare and present regular reports

Identify buyer persona to better target and identify audiences

Identify problems and deficiencies and provide solutions

Suggest improvements for process and productivity optimization

Work with web developers and marketing teams to properly implement SEO best practices

Stay up:to:date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SE


3 years of experience as Search Engine Marketing Specialist or similar role

3 years of experience with planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy

Proven success in SEO

3 years of experience in web analytics, marketing, and business development

Experience with A/B Testing and other applicable metrics

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

Ability to analyze data and provide appropriate recommendations

Critical thinker with strong problem solving skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent time management skills

Bonus experience may include:

Google Adwords, Facebook advertising, Instagram and social media, newsletter distribution, Shopify, Salesforce CRM experience.
