Job Description:

Vinbound Marketing is looking for skilled independent contractors to help provide digital marketing services to our growing list of clients.

Vinbound Marketing is based in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and provides a full range of digital marketing services to winery clients in Oregon and throughout the United States. Wineries rely on the talent behind Vinbound Marketing to develop digital marketing strategies and content that increase tasting room traffic and DTC sales in a competitive industry. Started in 2014, we have grown our client-base rapidly and occasionally leverage the best independent talent to provide more services and support for our winery clients. We are proud to work with some of the best wineries in Oregon and the US.

As an independent contractor, you will be provided with projects on an as-needed basis based on your particular skill set. This work is intended to supplement your existing freelance work or regular salaried job. You get to work remotely from the comfort of your home, although meetings with Vinbound staff and with winery clients may be requested on a periodic basis.

We are looking for contractors that have any of the following skills: 

Digital Marketing Strategy:
Experience developing overall digital marketing strategies for wineries or similar luxury brands to grow DTC sales revenue
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and implementation
Ability to audit and optimize online touchpoints (review sites, referring partners, social, etc) to improve first impressions of client brands
Ability to research and experiment with new digital methods to drive consumer engagement and tasting room traffic
Proficient in Google Analytics, Adwords/PPC, SEO Tools, spreadsheets

Email Marketing:
Experience creating email campaigns for wineries or similar luxury brands
Experience building and deploying emails in MailChimp, Premier Cellar, Constant Contact or similar
Email list management, including importing data, segmenting, reviewing analytics, etc.
Development and oversight of email campaign schedules for multiple clients at a time

Ecommerce:
Ability to configure / work with major wine ecommerce systems, such as Orderport, WineDirect, VinoShipper, Vinespring, WooCommerce, Squarespace, etc.
Understanding of shipping laws and wine-specific regulations that impact marketing strategies

Social Media:
Experience creating social media content and scheduling social media posts for multiple brands at a time, preferably for wineries or luxury brands
Experience monitoring numerous social media accounts and engaging with customers in a timely manner
Ability to develop creative social media campaigns
Strong copywriting skills
Experience with paid advertising campaigns on Facebook & instagram
Ability to stay current with social media trends and incorporate into client campaigns

Website Development:
Experience building or maintaining website for wineries
Experience building websites in Squarespace
Experience building websites in WordPress
Knowledge of best-practices for SEO in WordPress and Squarespace
Experience with domains, servers, cPanel, site migrations, data backups, etc
Fluency in CSS for design modifications

Graphic Design:
Design proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign
Experience designing print materials and digital graphics for wineries or luxury brands

Photography/Video:
Experience with product photography (i..e wine bottle shots)
Experience shooting video for wineries or luxury brands
Experience with Premier Pro, After Effects or FinalCut Pro
Experience shooting 360 images or video
Experience flying drones

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements: 
•  Experience with the wine industry and wine / luxury brand marketing
•  Must be very well organized and thrive working in a remote setting
•  Strong project management skills and ability to cater to many clients at a time
•  Prompt communication
•  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field ideal
•  Able to periodically meet in Carlton/McMinnville/Newberg Oregon is a big plus, but not required for all contractors
•  2-5 years’ experience required, related to digital marketing, email marketing, and social media in a Direct-To-Consumer environment
•  Ability to write various types of copy used on the web, emails, and social media

Salary:
Compensation will be on an hourly or per-project basis depending on the type of work. A formal negotiation will be had between Vinbound and contractors to determine compensation. Contractor positions may develop into an offer for a full-time position depending on the quality of work provided and the amount of work contractor is able to take on.
